This month, we will have the second session of Career Path Panel Discussion with the focus on Entrepreneurship. We are fortunate and honored to have four very successful entrepreneurs to be our panelists.

Panellist
James Jin: President and Chairman of General Mortgage Capital Inc., which is a direct mortgage lender specializing in Jumbo loan and a direct seller for Freddie Mac with 6+ branches in Bay Area. Prior to that he was the owner and president of J & J Investment Inc. and a software manager at Oracle Corp. James obtained his BS from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, MS from USC, a Ph.D candidate at USC, and MBA from San Jose State University. James has been deeply committed to serve Jiao Tong University Alumni community. He organized, sponsored and funded countless alumni activities throughout the years.
Larry Liu: CEO and co-founder of Weee! Inc, the largest Asian grocery delivery business in the U.S, with over 700,000 users. Prior to starting Weee!, Larry created a profitable eCommerce company Happital, using automated computer programs to sell on eBay. Larry received his BS Electrical Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and MBA from UC Davis. He also has 10 years of professional experience working for high tech companies in engineering, finance and management roles. Larry has supported and funded many Jiao Tong University Alumni activities.
Richard Liu: Co-founder and CEO of Leap.ai. Prior to Leap.ai, Richard was an Engineering Director at Google, launched Project Fi and achieved 90+% customer satisfaction as the Head of Engineering. In his eight years in Google, he also served as key leaders in Google Shopping, Google Offers, and Enterprise Search. Richard is also a Partner at Tsingyuan Ventures, a successor fund of TEEC Angel Fund. Richard obtained his Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from University of Florida and MBA from Southern Methodist University. He earned his Master degree from Tsinghua University and B.E. degree from Sichuan University.
Shin Wei: Founder and CEO of IvyMax Inc. and Co-Founder of IvyMax Foundation. As a Penn graduate, Mr. Wei had a very successful high-tech career and on Wall Street before he founded IvyMax with Dr. Miller, former Provost and Vice President of Stanford University. For more than a decade, Mr. Wei has been helping aspiring Asian students get admitted to Harvard, Princeton, Yale, Penn, Stanford, MIT, Caltech, UC Berkeley, UCLA, and other prestigious universities. Every summer and winter, Mr. Wei take high schools students to do Philanthropic work in rural China, Nepal, Bangladesh such as P2P micro finance, sustainable environmental engineering, public health, and human rights improvement projects. Many of his students have developed passion, strong leadership skills and social responsibility through the Philanthropic work and naturally became the candidates for the Ivy League universities and top tier schools.
