"Becoming a tech lead and beyond" (April 22, 2018)

Our April club meeting will be held from 1:15 pm to 3:00 pm on Sunday April 22, 2018 at the same place, 1601 South De Anza Blvd., Ste 260, Cupertino, CA 95014. This month’s meeting topic is “Becoming a tech lead and beyond”. Wenguang Wang will lead the presentation and the discussion.  

Wenguang Wang is a Senior Staff Engineer of VMware. He joined vSAN team of VMware in 2014. Before that, he was a tech lead in Apple’s local file system team for 10 years. He led software features development as architect and team lead, including File Vault on Mac, Fusion Drive on Mac, vSAN Checksum, and vSAN Encryption. He has also filed dozens of patents in software design and algorithms.
